An ideal lean workshop would let you change a typical mass production plant into a lean plant, observe the different operating styles and see the difference lean can make. This workshop does just that. Using a miniature factory model, attendees work as a team to transform a traditional factory into a lean factory by using lean production concepts to plan, fabricate, manufacture, assemble and ship two types of products. This highly interactive workshop is ideal for anyone who wants a clear understanding of what it takes to transition to a lean production-focused organization.
In this workshop:
- Understand the benefits of adopting lean principles.
- Identify waste in manufacturing processes.
- Select the appropriate lean tools to eliminate waste.
- Understand lean philosophies.
- Develop better supplier relationships.
- Improve income statements and balance sheets.
- Organize a successful lean transformation for your business.
