Workshop
Leading to Win
Applying lean in a professional services business
Workshop Code: FW-09
Day & Time: Friday, Oct 19, 2012 - 8:00 AM
Length: 4 hours
Cost: $200.00 USD
Lean initiatives can be hard to apply in small companies with "invisible" products, such as consulting services. In 2006, TMG made a commitment to lean and used lean to accelerate its journey to consistent near-perfect performance. However, not all of its employees were engaged. That's why TMG created hoshin konri in 2008. It used enterprise value stream analysis and re-focused the company on true north to re-establish its team values. By 2011, TMG had re-established its business performance, re-aligned the team and begun a systematic process to eliminate waste. During this workshop, TMG will show you how they achieved this success and how you can implement lean, even in a small business selling services.
In this workshop:
- Apply lean in a small business that sells "invisible" products.
- Create hoshin konri.
- Re-focus on the customer.
- Establish a daily application of team values.
- Eliminate waste, even when you can't "see" it.
- Make your business a lean business, no matter how big or small it may be.
