Workshop Code: MW-07

Day & Time: Monday, Oct 15, 2012 - 8:00 AM

Length: 8 hours

Organizations on a lean journey face many challenges, and they are not always successful in meeting them. That is when a proven framework for lean implementing is particularly appreciated. This workshop will provide you with just such a framework.

This highly-interactive workshop includes role playing with audience members and illustrates key points with real-world examples. It shows the three main reasons why organizations often fail to achieve the expected results and provides counter measures for each failure. The workshop presents a lean transformation framework that uses a three-phase approach: 1) understand, 2) stabilize and 3) continuously improve. It is a framework that was developed after analyzing organizations that were successful and those that were unsuccessful in their transformations - and it is a framework that works.

The framework is clear and simple and can be applied to all industries. That's why the concepts presented in this workshop have been presented to hundreds of people and received an average rating of 9.3 out of 10. Workshop attendees also receive a workbook that helps them develop a detailed lean action plan for their organization.

In this workshop:

  • Identify the reasons why organizations struggle with lean transformation.
  • Find out why lean is only effective when it's viewed and applied as a business system.
