Workshop
Lean Design: The 3P Method - FULL
Radical improvement in product and process design
Workshop Code: MW-23
Day & Time: Monday, Oct 15, 2012 - 8:00 AM
Length: 4 hours
Cost: $200.00 USD
The 3P methods can be quite effective - if you know how to use them properly. This workshop will show you how to do that. By using 3P successfully, you will be able to conceptualize, develop, validate and deploy radical improvement in both product and process. 3P accomplishes this by 1) eliminating waste at the design stage and 2) creating a truly lean value stream before the first unit is built. Using an interactive, case-study-based learning approach, attendees will experience what a 3P project feels like. This will give you a better understanding of the benefits of 3P and ratchet-up the intellectual value embedded into your future product and process designs.
In this workshop:
- Understand 3P thinking and 3P methodology.
- Identify and eliminate design-related waste.
- Gain insights into the mechanics of 3P project sponsorship, leadership and "facilitatorship."
- Discover how to secure the next set of quantum leap improvements beyond one-piece flow.
- Learn how to successfully apply 3P at your place of business.
