Cultural Revolution in a 100+ Year Engineering Services Firm
Not your grandfather’s product safety testing lab
On this tour, you will see how senior leadership has established a compelling vision for change at UL, a 118-year-old engineering services-based company. Today, UL's front-line managers are creating an environment of learning and coaching that drives continuous improvement every day. The tour will highlight changes in the company's product safety testing business and show you how UL is attempting to move away from primarily project-based continuous improvement to embedding continuous improvement into the way it operates every day.
UL has been implementing lean for seven years, and during this tour you will see just how much that journey has changed them.
